While many of us have morning rituals that ground and connect us to the day ahead with intention, night time rituals hold a beautiful chance for self-appreciation, healing and gratitude for everything that happened during the day and up until this moment. This includes the victories and happy moments as well as the frustrations, set backs and blunders.

Sending compassion and grace into every situation during the day that was upsetting and frustrating, just taking the time to acknowledge and honour the day and experiences behind you, opens a space for inviting new possibilities and hope for the next day. You have been seen and heard. By yourself.

Setting a special time aside each night before bedtime where you slow down, breathe and get quiet invites a sense of calm and peace and helps us to transition into the next day without holding onto the troubles of the previous day.

Adding little hygge things to this nightly ritual like lighting a fragrant, soothing candle or enjoying your favourite herbal tea or a cup of coffee, taking a relaxing bubble bath reminds you that you are important to YOU. It is a powerful reminder to you that you are seen and loved. It can become a conscious shift where you send love and gratitude into the next day for the One you are becoming.
